Sixth Annual Benefit 2010
La Bocce Vita 

La Bocce Vita was held on April 25th, 2010 on the beautiful grounds of the Ru home in San Marino. It was a festive affair, with friends gathering together to support our Guild’s spiritual mission.

Our Italian themed evening began sipping cocktails on the lawn, visiting with friends and a lively bocce ball tournament. Our Giving Tree and select goodie bags made everyone a winner! Each bag was filled with a delightful gift card or gift certificate. Our Silent Auction was also a big success. Items included bountiful gift baskets, jewelry, original art, wine and home accents.

"Pick a card – any card" our playing card Opportunity Drawing featured a stunning Grand Prize donated by Single Stone Jewelry in San Marino…beautiful 18K gold and diamond drop earrings. The drawing was limited to the 52 chances in a deck of cards and was a sell-out.

Guests enjoyed a delicious Italian buffet catered by Vic Ciulla’s Porta Via restaurant.

The crowning event of the evening was our outstanding Live Auction, featuring a Dazzling Home & Garden Design package, A Key West Vacation, Tournament of Roses package, Wolfgang Puck Party, Napa Valley Wine Country package, and much, much more… There was something for everyone at La Bocce Vita!

The online Angel Auction ran from April 12th to April 26th. Bidding on the Angel Auction web site at www.biddingforgood.com/angel All items in the Angel Auction were sold exclusively online.
