La Bocce Vita 
La Bocce Vita will be held on April 25th, 2010 on the beautiful grounds of the Ru home in San Marino. It promises to be a festive affair, with friends gathering together to support our Guild’s spiritual mission.
Our Italian themed evening will begin with sipping cocktails on the lawn, visiting with friends and a lively bocce ball tournament. Then, stroll over to the Giving Tree and select a goodie bag of your choice. Everyone's a winner! Each bag is filled with a delightful gift card or gift certificate. Somewhere on the Giving Tree are several grand prizes - so choose wisely – you might be a big winner!
Bid for fabulous items in our “Select Silent Auction” – offered exclusively at the La Bocce Vita event. These exquisite gifts will not be offered on our online Angel Auction; so bidding in person is a must. Choose from bountiful gift baskets, jewelry, original art, wine and home accents.
“Pick a card – any card” for our playing card Opportunity Drawing featuring a stunning Grand Prize donated by Single Stone Jewelry in San Marino. Beautiful 18K gold and diamond drop earrings can be yours. Drawing limited to the 52 chances in a deck of cards. A beautiful prize, for one lucky lady.
Enjoy a delicious Italian buffet catered by Vic Ciulla’s Porta Via restaurant. Relish Porta Via’s delicious cuisine, and make a toast to the Spiritual Care Guild with a glass of fine wine.
The crowning event of the evening will be our outstanding Live Auction, featuring a Dazzling Home & Garden Design package, A Key West Vacation, Tournament of Roses package, Wolfgang Puck Party, Napa Valley Wine Country package, and much, much more... There is something for everyone at La Bocce Vita!
The online Angel Auction will run from April 12th to April 26th. So, please keep bidding on the Angel Auction web site at www.biddingforgood.com/angel until 2:00pm, Monday, April 26th. All items in the Angel Auction are sold exclusively online. Shop till you drop, so we may continue our 24/7 spiritual care for families in crisis.
Winning bidder PICK -UPS will be held on April 27th, 2:00 to 6:00pm, at Porta Via Restaurant, One West California Blvd, Pasadena, (corner of California & Fair Oaks Blvd). All items purchased online, must be picked up on this day!
